This Eriocaulon forms a tuft of very fine leaves. It requires strong light and a good CO₂ supply. Soft water supports development, although Tropica describes it as more tolerant of moderately hard water than other Eriocaulon.

A few steps suited to this plant for a good start.

Gently remove the plant from its cup and rinse off the culture gel before placement.

Prepare small healthy portions without crushing leaves, stems or roots.
3Plant in the substrate
Space portions so light and water can pass between them. Bury the roots while keeping rosette crowns exposed.
Pruning and ongoing care
Flowering can temporarily drain the plant. Watch for new basal growth and keep conditions steady.
