The heat pack is included when temperatures require it. It is not added in warm weather, to avoid overheating.

The arrival warranty is included in both plant rates. Receipt precautions and claim instructions are explained below.

Isofoil, any required heat pack and the warranty are included: no additional winter packaging charge.
Plants + dry goods: a $9.99 surcharge
Orders containing at least one plant and one dry-goods item use the plant rate for their zone plus a fixed $9.99 surcharge per order: $39.98 in the main zone or $69.98 in the special zone.
When the zone’s free shipping threshold is reached, both the plant rate and the surcharge are waived. The threshold applies to the eligible total order value.
Dry goods only
For carts without plants, supplies, fertilizers and other dry goods ship at the Canada Post rate calculated at checkout, based on the parcel and destination. Plant rates and their free shipping thresholds do not apply.
From dispatch to your door.
An early-week departure
Plants ship early in the week to reduce the risk of parcels spending the weekend in transit. Dispatch day is not delivery day.
Weather matters too
When temperatures are too cold or too hot to ship plants safely, dispatch may be postponed until conditions allow.
Keep your tracking handy
Follow your parcel using its tracking information. Transit time depends on destination and carrier; estimates are not a guaranteed delivery date.
Ready to welcome your plants?
Arrange to collect your parcel promptly upon arrival. Unpack it and check the plants before placing them in your aquarium.
Which address should I provide?
Provide a complete and accurate address where your parcel can be received. PO boxes are not accepted. Contact us as soon as possible if a correction is needed.
Does a plant look damaged on arrival?
The DOA (dead-on-arrival plant) guarantee is included in both rates, even when shipping is free. Receive the parcel on the first attempt and do not leave it outdoors for more than one hour. Photograph affected plants and packaging on opening, then promptly email sales@sousleau.ca with your order number. Once accepted, eligible plants and corresponding taxes are refunded. Shipping charges are not covered by this commercial guarantee unless legally required. Full conditions are in our refund policy.
Plants and supplies in the same cart?
The rate is $39.98 in the main zone ($29.99 + $9.99) or $69.98 in the special zone ($59.99 + $9.99). The fixed surcharge covers the dry goods in that order; no additional Canada Post rate is added.
Shipping is completely free from $199.99 in the main zone or $399.99 in the special zone, based on the eligible order value after discounts.
