Description                 

Utricularia graminifolia is an elegant, light green foreground plant. We found this variety at an altitude of 2,000 m in fast-flowing water and emersed in the splash zone of small streams in Sri Lanka. In aquariums this plant needs moderate light to gradually produce a thick but very short carpet. Utricularia has a few unique characteristics: it is a carnivorous plant and produces special bladder traps to capture passing microorganisms. Fish and shrimp are perfectly safe, however.

Se separe a la base des racines

Mon copain et moi avons acheté chacun une plante. Je l'ai mise dans mon aquarium et automatiquement tous mes escargot sont venu la mangé! Donc je deconseil si vous avez des escargots dans votre aquarium. Pour mon copain, ses plantes survivent pour le moment dans son aquarium sans escargot, mais sa plante se separe a la moitier des tiges et il y a plein de bout de plante qui flotte a la surface. Pour l'instant je regrette un peu l'achat, mais a suivre pour mon copain! On se croise les doigts pour quelle survive.
